A salute to the heroic Mr. “Imran Firasat.”

It's only in Spain but, like the punch line to the joke "What do you call a busload of lawyers at the bottom of the ocean?", banning the Koran is a start.

What we really need to do is deport Muslims, there being zero possibility of reconciling the Koran, Islamic jurisprudence, and the repulsive practices of Muslims such as honor killings, FGM, and slavery with any Western society. Ten tons of other evidence exists of this irreconcilability.

Not one of our Founders or the ratifiers of the Constitution contemplated that First Amendment protections would be extended to a religion whose doctrines and, hence, followers were and are the mortal enemies of Christianity and infidels.

Justice Robert Jackson famously believed that Bill of Rights would become a suicide pact if the Supreme Court chose to apply a doctrinaire interpretation rather than one tempered by "practical wisdom."

To treat Islam as a religion that has any place in the civilized world, let alone one that should enjoy legal protection in it, is just absurd. Of course, that's exactly what the West does -- accept it and protect it -- thus the West pens its own suicide pact.

It's all very high-minded and the words are oh so elegant, but the end result for Westerners is the same -- life in a Muslim world notable only for its primitivism, degradation, slavery, and/or death.

A little inflation . . . or a lot?

Banks are currently holding about 15 times more than the roughly $100 billion in reserves required by the Fed, or $1.5 trillion. Historically, banks — which make profits primarily by lending out money, not keeping it — have held only 1% or 2% over required reserves.

On the national scene, the same attitude toward social and economic disparities prevails. High earners are now regarded as disreputable parasites living off the fat of others’ labor; at the same time, the poor — or the “unequal” — are not considered responsible for their comparatively disadvantaged situation in life.

Envy is the underlying sin. Excusing the real parasites at the bottom is merely to search for consistency with the underlying sin.

It is demanded of whites to practice racial blindness. ONLY WHITE PEOPLE. Blacks cannot have it both ways: they cannot demand that whites be race-blind and race-neutral, while blacks continue to be aggressively race-conscious themselves and gain massive favors and privileges in this society by a race-conscious, pro-black double standard. Since blacks (along with their elite liberal facilitators) do not feel themselves bound by the race-blindness rule, then whites should no longer bound by it either.

In the 60's I missed out on numerous job opportunities and college scholarships because of racial /minoriaty quotas. At the time I felt that if that was the way to end racism, it was ok and I did the best I could. Now, after over 40yrs, the likes of Freeman, Jackson, etc. are making me start to think differently. Maybe Morgan Freeman has played a president and God, once to often.

Taxonomic clarity.

If anything, current conventional practice might be accurately described as an all-out anti-capitalist assault on democratic free enterprise.

We are all familiar with deliberate political obfuscation: "fascism" as right-wing, "multiculturalism" as a cover for displacement of whites, "racism" as a distraction from the truth of an opponent's arguments, etc.

Too, the left rails against the present economic system as though its failures were the epitome of pure capitalism. Naturally, this requires more state intervention to fix.

The reality is otherwise. At best, our system is a form of crony capitalism, quasi socialism, or pseudo capitalism.

Mr. Yiamouyiannis has a fuller list of descriptors and says it's "corporate socialism, crony capitalism, cancer capitalism, plutocracy, kleptocracy, oligarchy, neofeudalism" and points out the intentional destruction underway.

We pay a high price for such intellectual confusion. The very Constitution itself was stood on its head in 1861 and eviscerated in 1937 and at other times since then. One reason Americans are so complacent is that they are taken in by the idea that the Constitution of the Framers' time still exists and that they still enjoy its protections. We are decades past the point when we could say that we are protected by the rules of law.

Our illusions, however, are gleaming and pulsing with life.

One of the most certain ways to create irritation is to tell a civil libertarian a lie or a leftist the truth. The latter has been painfully experienced by anyone who takes part in turning the direction of politics around to common sense. However, the leftist lauds anyone that collaborates in the 152nd attempt at creating the new person.

Freedom is unnatural to mankind, and we falter. Many slaves in antiquity actually WANTED to be slaves, because they were protected by their masters. They were fed, housed, clothed and had a secure job. Today the Government seeks to become your master. And many people think the same way. Someone else should feed them, clothe them, house them in exchange for votes. The horrible irony in this situation is that many of these people are Black folk.^[1]

Moreover it's a way of life avidly embraced by blacks. No fewer than 96% of blacks are in the bag for dependency, race privilege, avoidance of responsibility, and the socialist, liberty-destroying government that will provide or tolerate it.

Free-riding Europeans.

Last year's Libya war was supposed to prove that the Europeans could take the lead in a smaller conflict closer to their borders. But contrary to the White House spin, the U.S. was the lone indispensable military force in Libya. The Europeans lacked the precision guided munitions, intelligence resources and refueling tankers to finish off Moammar Gadhafi's forces, which weren't exactly the Red Army.
