The most important question of your life.

Here is a comment of pure excellence:
The contemporary Democratic Party has defined itself as a coalition of:
  • affirmative action activists
  • anti-American activists
  • anti-capitalist activists
  • anti-classical liberal activists
  • anti-Christian activists
  • anti-European activists
  • anti-free speech activists
  • anti-Israel activists
  • anti-Jewish activists
  • anti-male activists
  • anti-meritocracy activists
  • anti-Western activists
  • anti-white activists
  • Antifa
  • Arab activists
  • Asian activists
  • black activists
  • cultural Marxists
  • feminist activists
  • Hispanic activists
  • Indian activists
  • intersectionalists
  • LGBTQ activists
  • Muslim activists
  • open borders activists
  • Palestinian activists
  • people of color activists
  • radical leftists
  • reparations activists
  • social justice warriors
  • socialists
  • Third World activists
  • women of color activists
The odds of it ever regaining control of the center in American politics seem slim. It has made it clear that traditional American cultural groups are no longer welcome in the party.

At its core, the post-2016 Democratic Party is driven by overt hatred of straight white males of the type who have created Western and First World culture in the modern era — that is the relentless drumbeat that comes through loud and clear.

The Squad is the face of the contemporary Democratic Party — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ayanna Pressley, Ilhan Omar and Rashida Tlaib. They seem to be clamoring for an outright civil war. They are confident that they will win that war because demographic trends are in their favor. They intend to overwhelm and obliterate their opposition through sheer numbers.

Where does this volatile situation, which goes far beyond questions about the political fortunes of Donald Trump, go from here?[1]

That last question is the one to which I refer and it is the only question that needs answering. At what point do economic illiteracy, media corruption, worship of foreigners and minorities, hatred of our ancestors, historical ignorance, feminist malevolence, mass immigration, Muslim sedition, and minority pathology and hatred actually cut the arteries of this (hitherto) remarkable civilization? At what point do you understand it in your bones that there is no loyal opposition, only people who hate everything about you and with every breath they take yearn to deprive you of your property, your sanity, your country, and your life?

This will be reversed either by

  1. a white epiphany that results in an electoral reversal of this situation that's been decades (if not a century) in the making or
  2. a violent score settling by patriots.
And what is the likelihood of the former when Western electorates time and time again give overwhelming support to their enemies?

These are the only two options.

Nothing is on the horizon that gives grounds for optimism. Not a damn thing. Debt "ceilings" are routinely punctured. Mass immigration continues unabated. Pointless, illegal war is the obsession of the Treason Class. Lesbians, freaks, and soy boys are the stuff of the nightly news. With painfully few honorable police department exceptions, AntiFa filth rule the public square absolutely, positively under the king's radar. But God forbid you should refuse to produce a "wedding" cake for two queers.

These are existential matters. If your wife asks if maybe it is time for a divorce, make no mistake that this is not a question that can be put off for later consideration at your leisure. How you answer that question is vitally important to you because if you answer incorrectly – or drift indecisively in the face of a massive problem – your life will never be the same again.

Make no mistake, how you answer Mr. McBride's question is of crucial importance to you and your loved ones.

I'll add my own related question. To what part of our current legal, political, economic, social, and cultural reality will you continue to give your assent? Consider, for example, whether subscribing to cable is giving aid and comfort to your enemies who have made the legacy media a firehose of slime to be spread over everything that you treasure?

How is this not exactly right?

The popular delusion of the 21st century is to assume the highest virtues of democracy. This faulty assumption propagates a dangerous archetype: the tyranny of the masses and its twin consequences, deficits and inflation.[1]
Elite betrayal is one thing and as real as a heart attack. However, how explain the electorates unwillingness to hold the elite accountable through the electoral process? The least bit of feistiness on the part of voters, such as with the Tea Party, and the TPTB were quaking in their boots. But the party died after a short, glorious life.

Why did it? Because politicians can always play their Trump card and distribute yet more to the FSA.

Modern Western electorates are sellouts to their ancestors, descendants, and themselves. They disgrace themselves by their surrender to foreigners, primitive creeds, and hate-filled minorities. So long as the gravy flows, the lumpenvotertariat will bend over and assume the position. They have the foresight of a clam.

No degradation or destructive policy is enough to deter them from their mission of national suicide.

Shades of the oppressive, evil Catholic Church.

The left will never cease pointing to the Catholic Church as the apotheosis of all that is oppressive, hypocritical, and intellectually dishonest in human affairs. E.g., church insistence on incorrect astronomical theories.

But the eventual dominance of the heliocentric view of the solar system did not eliminate all forms of obscurantism. Rather, intellectual dishonesty has roared back to life, if not ruinous domination, with the advent of a vengeful new priesthood that presides over a new and improved regime of thought control:

It was not until 1758, more than 200 years after the death of Copernicus, that the Church finally revoked a general ban on all books that advocated a heliocentric view of the universe.

However, even after lifting its ban, the Church only allowed public access to heavily censored versions of Galileo’s Dialogue and Copernicus’s De Revolutionibus. Surely if a widely accepted lie could persist as the truth among the masses for centuries as a result of those in power suppressing fact, then many similar instances today are possible. Today, the executives at Google (who also owns YouTube) and Twitter have become the modern day equivalent of the ancient Roman Catholic Church by deplatforming, demonetizing and shadowbanning all social media channels that forward any narratives that disagree with their own, even censoring results from internet searches (in the case of Google).[1]

This modern private tyranny is far worse than the very limited one of old. Even Galileo got papal approval to lay out the heliocentric view of the solar system as long as he did not go so far to advance that theory over the other, if memory serves me. Galileo was so stupid as to write in a dialogue form in which the thinly-disguised character of the Pope was made to look like a moron. Was he punished for his unorthodox scientific views or for gratuitously insulting the Pope? As I don't subscribe to the automatic demonization of all rulers and institutions prior to Saint Franklin, my money is on the table where it says "Dumbasses get their just desserts."

There is NO area of modern life that isn't fatally infected with widespread lunacy. But the time-tested corrective of free inquiry is unavailable to our whole culture. Jail, economic ruin, loss of children, and attack by free-range leftist thugs are all widespread weapons wielded against the normal, let alone against cutting-edge free thinkers. These are the weapons of first resort used by the Treason Class to maintain the delusions of the age.

Western civilization has not evolved to some colorful redoubt of liberty and rationality in a sea of primitives but has slid into a swamp of pettiness and vindictiveness that is a disgrace to our ancestors. And ourselves.

Frankenstein capitalism.

It's one of my favorite points about what is criticized by the left and other weakminded people. The idea that what we witness today is "capitalism." That's like saying a feminist can be a lovely, desirable woman:
Many people fail to understand that the banking class also has controlled the curricula of business schools for centuries, and consequently ensure that millions of students are falsely taught that free markets exist and free market capitalism is the dominant economic model that exists in G8 nations that dominate the world economy. Because of this belief that is 100% false, advocates of socialism and democratic socialism like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Bernie Sanders have been able to accrue massive support upon the false premise that capitalism has failed. When we make a claim that capitalism has failed, we can’t intellectually critique a grotesque form of capitalism that has stripped most essential elements of free market capitalism out of the model and then criticize that the model of capitalism has failed. Such criticisms are tantamount to critiquing current dominant academic models that are more intent on socially conditioning students to become compliant and obedient and claiming that the teaching of intellect has failed. Since academia in its current dominant form today shows no interest in shaping intellectual young adults, the claim that teaching intellect has failed is not relevant to an academic system that does not have this as one of its goals. It is quite clear that the economic models in place in nearly every nation has failed, and failed miserably . . . .[1]
The Chinese have a delightful saying that is a masterpiece of brevity: kai men jian shan. Literally, "open door look [at] mountain." Or, "could we please just stop kidding ourselves and look at what's really happening?" An earthier rendering is possible but not to be supplied here on this most elegant of blogs.

The entire West is pursuing the model of limitless free stuff from the government/productive class, endless wealth production by magical processes, white people as the source of all evil, fiat currency as the genius option, Everests of debt as without consequences, minorities and foreigners as our superiors and our salvation, and native-people electorates as poeple whose views are contemptible. The Western political and economic models are worthless and built on sand.

Effective Western leadership class response? Nonexistent.

What's not to love?

“Well, so here’s what we’re left with,” [Daniel] Horowitz replied. “Eighteen percent more spending than under Obama, the border numbers are two to three times higher than under Obama, and then, when it comes to defunding Planned Parenthood, gee, what ever happened to that?”[1]
We elected an immigration hardliner, supposedly, but the reality is a massive jump in illegal immigration. What am I missing here? The wall, such as it is, inches along the border, the vaunted troops on the border are nothing more than a light infantry nursemaid auxiliary, e-Verify is as dead as the investigation into Hillary's destruction of the 180,999 emails relating to Chelsea's wedding (a/k/a "official correspondence") on her powder room server, and the Immigration and Nationality Act of 1965 is still in force notwithstanding two years of Republican control of the legislative branch and the White House.

Ann Coulter had it right a year or so ago when she said you could go down to the border and throw a brick in the dirt and you'd have done more to build a wall than Trump had. A few miles of fence have been installed since then but it's essentially no obstacle at all to anyone interested in walking across the border. And anyone "apprehended" is forthwith released into the interior in a matter of days.

Return to sender.

I would like to say to those who think that they are sending us democracy from their country, that they are mistaken – we have democracy and we are happy with it, all of us with all our sects in Syria – Christians, Muslims, Druze, Alawites and everyone. We had no problems with anyone.

They (in the West) think that they are giving us democracy but we know that this is a fake “democracy”. ”[1]

Keeping the Cold War alive.

Eric Zuesse has written the clearest and most insightful analysis of Collusiongate and Skripalgate I've run across.

The details of
  • the Dirty Dossier and its provenance;
  • the way in which the CIA, FBI, and DOJ colluded to commit fraud on the FISA Court;
  • Hillary Clinton's involvement;
  • the role of Crowdstrike, Fusion GPS, Orbis Orbis Business Intelligence Perkins-Coie, and the DNC;
  • MI6's involvement in the Dirty Dossier and connection to Serge Skripal (as can be seen in Pablo Miller's employment in Orbis, compiler of the Dossier); among other things,
are mind numbing even to this sorta kinda observer.

Before I zoned out, I read various accounts of aspects of this and tried, without much success, to understand (partial list)

  • the forces at play,
  • the asinine hyperventilating about Russia!! (as Tucker Carlson likes to say it),
  • our lunatic "public debate" and media betrayal,
  • Mueller's odd appointment and bizarre choice of staff,
  • the contrived rush to extend NATO to the Russian border,
  • our mysterious hyperinterest in involving ourselves in Georgia and Ukraine,
  • our lies about Russian aggression in Crimea,
  • our shameful responsibility for the murder of Gaddafi and jihadi scum destruction of Libya,
  • our moronic obsession with the Mad Dog Ophthalmologist in Syria,
  • our fanatic determination to keep our borders wide open, and
  • the ultimate objectives of this massive, sustained assault on Trump and on what remains of our representative republic.
The article does answer all my questions but I think it shines a light squarely on the problem. Here's perhaps the money quote, though there are many in Zuesse's article:
But the historical background of this entire matter — both Skripal and Trump-Russiagate— is obvious: MI6 is Britain’s equivalent to America’s CIA. That was Obama’s CIA. This was entirely a MI6-CIA disinformation campaign, which was an extension from Obama’s (and the UK Government’s) participation in US President G.H.W. Bush’s decision, on 24 February 1990, to continue the Cold War until Russia becomes swept up in, controlled by the US[.][1] And Britain’s Guardian served the Deep State as the core conduit for disinformation to the public on this particular operation (Russiagate-Trump — Obama’s operation to make irreversible Obama’s public restoration (most obvious in Ukraine) of the Russia-is-America’s-top-enemy meme), for and on behalf of the Deep State, so as to continue G.H.W. Bush’s Cold War, inside the US — never to reverse it, until ‘victory’ is achieved.

The “special relationship” between the US and UK (CIA and MI6) is obviously to assist each other in deceiving the other’s public. (Not only did MI6 participate in deceiving UK’s public to fear and despise Putin, but it was crucial in deceiving the US public that Trump was Putin’s stooge.)[2]

So we're chasing our tail in this new, bright age of American exceptionalism (why not "saintliness"?) and two of the greatest nations of the Anglosphere are playing stinky games with each other to concoct greasy playlets that are an insult to their citizens.

Zuesse's views on the state of American representative system are chilling:

[Ever] since at least 1981, only Deep State controlled people have lived in the US White House and controlled Congress. As a group, they have perpetrated incalculable harm (such as this) to the entire world. Their only masters have been America’s billionaires. America certainly is a dictatorship, no democracy — [it] represents only its hundreds of billionaires and their millions of agents, no public at all it. The two Parties represent the two factions into which America’s aristocracy have divided themselves. Neither[3] represents the public.[4]
What is left of British and American political legitimacy? Personally, I despise the vast majority of ciphers, grifters, fools, sociopaths, and psychopaths at the highest levels of the U.S. federal government and the media.

Ain't NObody mindin' the store who's worth a damn. Pretty much.

US strategy: Wage war, worship foreigners, avoid reality, more debt, coast.

But I have a question:

Why does the global economy need rescuing after 10 years of non stop monetary stimulus?

I also have an answer and it’s an unpleasant one. Because by bailing out markets and economies at every sign of trouble over the past 10 years central banks have given politicians license to do nothing. And nothing is what you get as political discourse fragments and majority solutions are impossible to come by.

But not only are majority solution impossible to get nobody even wants to even talk about them. Why? Because they involve pain. Voters don’t want to hear pain. Hence all you hear is free money. Tax cuts in 2016. Now we hear free college, health care and debt forgiveness for 2020 and who knows maybe more tax cuts.

Nobody wants to campaign on pain. I get it. But does anyone really think solving the structural problems that are behind slowing growth after 10 years of monetary stimulus are easily solvable?

* * * *

Debt ceiling? Nobody takes it seriously and the supposed enemies labeling each other currently as racists and socialists will suddenly find a solution and compromise to raise the debt ceiling. They always do. It’s always drama, and talk and hand wringing, but it never means anything.[1]

It's maddening the way the political swine can summon the will, time, and energy to get done what they really want done. Thousands of troops to Syria? Billions for war? Done and done. Troops for the southern US border? Can't have that. Please wait for our "comprehensive immigration law reform" package. Schedule? Jamais! Items to be addressed comprehensively? Water boarding wouldn't get it out of those toads. Not one troop on the border until we are clear on whether there should be an official Border Patrol no. 2 pencil. Our hands are tied, yo. Meanwhile, let millions of hostile, criminal, parasitic, unassimilable foreigners flow across the border like long lost cousins.

Bottom line: the nation is adrift with a bed sheet for a sail and the captain and crew despise the passengers and the vessel they control. Chance of fixing the engines? Zero. Of official betrayal? 100%.

Mr. Henrich also has this cheery thought:

Nobody is talking about structural solutions. Not the politicians, not the voters, not the central banks.

You know when structural solutions will be discussed? When it’s too late.

What we'll get for now is more debt. Yes, more debt. Hence the word "insanity" in the author's title. People like Ron Paul, Tucker Carlson, and James O'Keefe stand out for their willingness to discuss real problems but they might as well not exist. No, let's earnestly consider the views of Nancy Pelosi and the important issue of Donald Trump's tweets.

Privatizing tyranny.

Ten people, directly connected to the progressive Democrat political machine who are now controlling our conversations online. Sounds like an important alarm, no?

What if I told you there were nearly a hundred more?[1]

Whoever came up with "privatizing tyranny" is a brilliant. The article below is fascinating and it sheds light on what is the central issue of our time. Private censorship is more dangerous even than mass immigration because absolutely anything can be done by our leftist revolutionaries if citizens' voices are swallowed up by the self-annointed conniving, dishonest, leftist zealots who run Big Tech.

Here's another excerpt from an article highlighting the same issue:

According to PJ Media, during a recent interview at this year’s Aspen Ideas Festival, Zuckerberg began to explain how the social media firm is attempting to work with the governments of other countries to determine what political speech should be allowed on the site. Zuckerberg gave an example of Facebook’s interaction with the Irish government ahead of a 2018 referendum on the legalization of abortion in the country.[2]
The picture of Zuckerberg accompanying the passage just quoted is of a soulless dweeb. He's not my idea of a red-blooded American and I don't want him deciding on what shaving cream I should buy let alone deciding what is or is not appropriate for anyone to say on the internet.

Trump is a disappointment to me on this issue, just as he is with the danger of Antifa, his understanding of his powers under Art. IV, Sect. 4 to repel a blankety blank invasion SHMG, his unwillingness or inability to point out that "health care" is a phrase found nowhere in Art. I, Sect. 8, and his stunning blindness on the issue of vote fraud. Inter bleeping alia.

On this issue, however, his lack of depth is disastrous. We already have a plutocracy and it's a terrible development to have free speech matters off loaded onto freaks like Zuckertrucker. Private tyranny is the perfect description of this spreading poison and Trump and his administration, true to form, are asleep at the switch.

Political cartoonists are missing an opportunity to show a massive freight train marked "Media giant censorship" blasting by with the sleeping switchman marked "Government defense of fundamental liberties."

An interesting analysis of the current state of play.

This time, the Jewish state proposed that Putin should give up his ties with Iran; in return, they promised to assist in general warming of Russo-American relations. Putin had a bigger counter-proposal: Let the US lift its Iran sanctions and withdraw its armed forces from Syria, and Russia will try to usher Iranian armed forces out of Syria, too. The ensuing negotiations around Iran-Syria deal would lead to recognition of the US and Israel interests in Syria, and further on it could lead to negotiations in other spheres.

This was a clear win-win proposal. Iran would emerge free of sanctions; Israel and the US would have their interests recognised in Syria; the much-needed dialogue between Russia and the US will get a jump-start.[1]

Much more in the article. Highly recommended.

Propaganda onslaught.

One thing not to be forgotten is that when the takfiris finally were pushed out of Douma, a makeshift chemical weapons factory, complete with how-to-make instructions and receipts for the machinery and chemical compounds received, was found underground in an elaborate network of tunnels.

Neither the factory nor the tunnels, nor the brutal nature of the takfiris holding Douma, or their previous crimes, including their previous alleged use of chemical weapons were items for show or discussion in the media.

Neither was the story one of armed fanatics taking over a district close to a national capital and holding its citizens hostage. Neither was the story one of foreign governments and the armed groups they were supporting besieging an entire country. The facts were reversed so that it was the Syrian government and army laying siege to its own people and killing them with chemical weapons.

Over the past eight years, the propaganda onslaught by these governments and the corporate media has been total. [1]

That "laying siege to your own people and killing them" notion is intriguing. I can't think of any incident in history where any leader set out to do that, where it was his principal objective. "Got to kill my peeps, yo."

Civilians invariably suffer when there's a war but when a city or area is besieged, encircled, or targeted, the general is not after his own citizens but rather the enemy amongst them. But the contrary notion about the Syrian government is what's been peddled with malice aforethought to Western audiences.

The U.S., Britain, France, Germany, NATO, and members of the accursed coalition waging war on Syria and, soon, on Iran, are party to a dishonorable, filthy enterprise. Whatever good will the U.S. had from its good works in the post-war world has been squandered for no good purpose. Malevolence, theft, and aggressive, unconstitutional war are the order of the day.

Law as the enemy of normality.

Rules and laws were never meant to hinder the honest citizen nor put him at risk. They were meant to be the ‘line in the sand’ that helped define criminal behavior and reduced the number of criminals roaming free.

Fast forward to today and rules and laws are now applied to the honest citizen and criminal equally. I take that back. There is no equality in how the rules are applied.[1]

All the presumptions are against the citizen. Kill someone on your property or in a street confrontation, even if the deceased has a criminal record of violent offenses, and you're looking at serious legal difficulties. Saint Trayvon had problems are school with possession of burglar tools but the prosecutor pursued George Zimmerman as though he were distilled malevolence. If anything, Zimmerman was an example of public-spirited citizen involvement.

Lefty Kraut Klown Kar.

One can expect more interventionist policies [in German] through 2021. Little has been learned decades after the government-controlled economies in Germany devastated the country in the twentieth century.[1]
My earlier insightful observation comes to mind:
Only catastrophe -- Solzhenitsyn's pitiless crowbar of events, Ben Franklin's dear school, or the wrath of God -- appears likely to break through the armor plate of Western delusion.
And, Lord have mercy, did I ever nail it.

With all this in mind, here's a choice comment by yerfej on the article in the note below:

Obviously the government should nationalize everything so that the price of everything could be reduced by leveraging the [government's] higher rate of efficiency.
There are some serious cynics in this world. And we could do with a whole lot more of them.
