The wife of Iranian journalist, Akbar Ganji, who is imprisoned in a Tehran jail has said that her husband has again received death threats in prison. . . .This is political correctedness with teeth. The Ayatollah was "offended" and that was enough to land Mr. Ganji in jail. We wonder how he endangered the security of Iran. Probably by revealing the number of stop lights in Teheran.

Ganji has spent more than 2500 days in jail after having been convicted of offending Iran's spiritual leader Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei, and for having put at risk the security of the country. . . .

[Massoumeh] Shafii[, Mr. Ganji's wife,] said she is very worried and desperate. "I ask all the men of good will, inside and outside of the Islamic republic, not to leave my husband to die in jail," she said.
The courage of these people who stare directly into the maw of these beasts is astonishing.
Mr. Ganji is already skin and bones after a hunger strike (since abandoned three months ago) and the government of Iran is restricting access by prison doctors.
They are going to kill him by starving him.
