That the European discovery of the Americas was a disaster for the peoples living there is a truism, though we should remember that bacteria and microbes did most of the killing. Yet all human history is a tragic record of vast movements of people searching for resources, and willing to use violence against those who already possess them. The Persians, Romans, Arabs, Huns, Mongols, Turks, Bantu, Khmer -- all wrought devastation on the peoples unfortunate enough to be in their paths. For the Indians, the European invasion of the New World was one more act in the tragedy of history. There is no right to possess territory. All nations acquire or keep the territory they have as a result of the use of force or the threat of force. The Israelis have no right to control Israel. The "Palestinians" have no right to the West Bank. Both now live on real estate they are willing to fight for and capable of fighting for . . . or that someone else allows them to live on.
There's no "justice" component. Want "your" land back? Fight for it the good old fashioned way, or . . . inundate that country if it has suicidal immigration policies.
If you don't want to do that, or can't, then live with it.
