Arnold Beichman observes that President Clinton did nothing about the warning we got from the 1993 World Trade Center bombing. In fact, he says, President Clinton appeased Iran even though it was behind the following:
- the 1996 Khobar Tower bombing in Saudi Arabia,
- the Jewish Community Center in Argentina, and
- the assassinations of translators of Salman Rushdie's novel.
"The Clinton administration," he writes, "kept looking for Iranian moderates, forgetting Henry Kissinger's definition: 'An Iranian moderate is one who has run out of ammunition.'"
Mr. Beichman also has some choices words for the Liberal Left and their assinine objective in view of the larger realities.
The one unexpendable man." By Arnold Beichman, Washington Times, 1/18/06.
