Hate for the sake of Allah.

This to the left is on the site of the Islamic Thinkers Society. (If you don't see the animation, go to the site. It reads,

{yellow} "WARNING! VOTING FOR ANY KAAFIR WILL MAY YOU KAAFIR!!

{blink} KAAFIR!!

{blink} KAAFIR!!

{blink} KAAFIR!! {blink}

Anyone still doubt what some Muslims think about fitting in in Western democratic societies?

The Society's objective:

Our objective is to resume the Islamic way of life to which will fulfill the purpose of the aim. Our objective is to bring back the apparatus that was destroyed in 1924 i.e. Khilafah. Indeed it was the Khilafah that united the Muslim Ummah under one flag, one land, one border, and one leader. It was the Khilafah which served as the appartus to make sure that Tawheed manifested in all ascpect in the Muslim Ummah's affairs. Surely, anyone who accepts any other system than Allah's Shari'ah is worshipping the one who has put his laws in place of the laws of Allah. This is a major form of shirk and anyone who commits a major shirk has left Islam.
Ergo, if you don't accept sharia, you're an apostate and we all know what happens to apostates.

This Islamic concept of love (as propounded by the ITS) puts a new twist on the concept:

The Conditions of Tawheed

* * * *

7. Al-Mahabbah - Love

After having knowledge, certainty, acceptance, submission, belief and sincerity; you must also love those whom Allah (SWT) tells you to love, and hate those whom He tells you to hate.

Allah says: "And of mankind are some who take (for worship) others besides Allah as rivals (to Allah). They love them as they love Allah. But those who believe love Allah more (than anything else). If only those who do wrong could see, when they will see the torment, all power belongs to Allah and that Allah is severe in punishment." (EMQ al-Baqarah, 2: 165)

The Messenger Muhammad (SAW) also said: "The most powerful knot of Eemaan is to love for the sake of Allah and to hate for the sake of Allah." (Ahmad, Aadaab us-Suhbah)

Therefore you must love the Muslims, believers and mujaahideen, and hate the kuffaar, Shaytaan and all other disbelievers; otherwise you will be violating one of the conditions of tawheed and hence become mushrik
[polytheist].
Is it just us, or is this radically different from the Christian concept?

The ITS maintains a Gallery of Muslim Massacres, the link to which we provide out of fairness, as we link to the Relgion of Peace site at the bottom of this page.

"Linguistically the word tawheed means unification (to make something one). However Islamically it is in reference to Allah being singled out alone, in all that is particular to him. The opposite of tawheed is 'Shirk' which is to associate partners with Allah by giving that which belongs to him, to others."

". . . Eemaan is construed to mean testifying and belief, while Islaam represents external submission, such as affirmation by tongue and action by limbs."

The yellow emphasis in this post is ours; all other emphasis is that of the ITS.

We regret the disjointed nature of this post. We started out with the cool animation and then chased the rabbit down several inviting holes, wherein much was learned.
