For years prior to the outbreak of World War II, Hitler and his Nazi party made their murderous agenda very clear, while frightened democracies refused to heed the warnings and kept their heads in the sand. Today there are new ostriches in our land. They refuse to take terrorists at their word. The Times reported on February 4th the comments of a cleric at the Al-Omari mosque in Gaza, "We will not accept less than severing the heads of those responsible." Regrettably, many Westerners don’t take Abu Musab al-Zarqawi, Osama bin Laden’s principal deputy, at his word when he said, "Killing the infidels is our religion, slaughtering them is our religion, until they convert to Islam or pay us tribute.""Cause for concern: Fear silences the free press." Slaughter is our religion.

Unfortunately, it is the entire world that they want to take over and convert. We must be on guard and not be "tolerant" to our own downfall.
You're absolutely right. I just posted about an excellent gentleman in Britain who is a convert to Christianity from Islam. He has very clear insight into the thinking of the Islamicists.
They do intend to dominate the world.
It took a while for the world to wake up to Hitler's plans. Maybe it's not hopeless that many still do not see what the Muslims plan. The cartoon frenzy woke a lot of people up, I think. All those placards in the streets with "We love Hitler" and "Behead all those who insult the Prophet" were VERRRRRYYYY educational.
I've also enjoyed Lawrence Auster's blog, a recent discovery. He's very clear about the danger of worshipping tolerance as though there are no real and important differences between cultures and religions. E.g., "The only way the West can be saved." He thinks we owe it to ourselves to be intolerant of people who hate us and want to subjugate us and take over our lands.
I sure as heck agree with him! I am a great believer in "You hurt us. We will hurt you." One of these days, we'll try that approach with the Syrians, Iranians, and Saudis.
