Idiotic pussyfooting alert.

Is the Colonel the only one who is driven (even more) insane by this kind of dream-based way of conducting the nation's defense?

Compare this:
The [September 2006] incident [in which a Chinese missile sub stalked an American aircraft carrier battle group] is a setback for the aggressive U.S.-China military exchange program being promoted by Adm. Fallon, who has made several visits to China in recent months in an attempt to develop closer ties.

However, critics of the program in the Pentagon say China has not reciprocated and continues to deny U.S. military visitors access to key facilities, including a Beijing command center.

In contrast, Chinese military visitors have been invited to military exercises and sensitive U.S. facilities. Additionally, military intelligence officials said Adm. Fallon has restricted U.S. intelligence-gathering activities against China, fearing that disclosure of the activities would upset relations with Beijing. [1]

China obtained secret stealth technology used on B-2 bomber engines from a Hawaii-based spy ring in a compromise U.S. officials say will allow Beijing to copy or counter a key weapon in the Pentagon's new strategy against China.

The case is the second major military technology espionage case involving China. Earlier this year, two Chinese-born brothers in Los Angeles were arrested as suspects in passing Navy warship and submarine weapons secrets to China.

He [the alleged spy, "former defense contractor Noshir S. Gowadia, an Indian-born citizen"] developed the still-secret method used by military aircraft to suppress infrared signals from the engine that blocks heat-seeking missiles from targeting the jet.

U.S. officials familiar with the case said the compromise of the B-2 technology is extremely damaging because it will give China key secrets on the bomber.[2]

It hasn't yet penetrated too many heads that a Communist country turned "capitalist," but which remains oligarchic and authoritarian politically, can no more be trusted than Hitler's Germany.

They're too fixated on the imminent establishment of the Christo-fascist theocracy in the lower 48.

The Senate has an actual Chaplain, doesn't it?

I rest my case.
