Saudi air force weapons in terrorist hands.

The question is: How did Saudi air force weapons get into the hands of terrorists?

This question arises in connection with the detonation of a bomb in a truck carrying Shamil Basayev, a prime specimen of Fuligo septica jihadi barbatus if ever there was one. Detonation courtesy of the Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation. (Way to go, guys!)
Basayev , who claimed responsibility for hostage takings and airplane bombings that killed hundreds of people over the past decade, died in an explosion in Ingushetia in July, the Federal Security Service has said.

Moskovsky Komsomolets said an FSB agent infiltrated Basayev's retinue and tipped off his superiors that Basayev had a KamAZ truck with three secret caches of explosives, arms and ammunition . . . .

The hidden arsenal included 22 anti-tank rocket launchers, 16 Kalashnikov assault rifles, two machine guns, one sniper rifle, one automatic grenade launcher and numerous mines, plastic explosives and other items, the report said, adding that the anti-tank missile launchers had the emblem of the Saudi air force on them.
Now, you can believe any Saudi denials that you want. Egregious theft of government property, renegade elements in the armed forces, surprise al Qaida infiltration, etc. You will be shocked to learn that these are not explanations to which our mind is naturally drawn. No, they are not.

If the military practices of non-primitive societies are any guide, powerful weapons like anti-tank missile launchers are strictly controlled and not a category of military supply on the order of ponchos and entrenching tools.

No. Missile launchers are something you just don't cart off from a military base without the permission and cooperation of the local commander.

Ergo, the Saudi government is supplying Muslim terrorists with money and weapons.
