The Muslim Canadian Congress received the message Tuesday morning. It was left on the Toronto telephone of secretary general Munir Pervaiz.
"I swear on 99 names of Allah, if you don't cease from your campaign of smearing Islam … I will slaughter you," the unidentified caller said.

The reasonable Muslims are there but it is a tragic contradiction of Islam that it is incompatible with reason. The history of Islam began with a certain "flourishing" when Muslims affixed themselves to the teat of the lively societies they conquered. Some Muslims were then able to indulge in some freedom of inquiry.
But that brief period was eclipsed by the subsequent victory of the idiots who declared that no word of the Koran could be questioned. And thereafter it was open season on anyone who didn't care for fanaticism and intellectual rigidity and stagnation.
