Inverse relationship: massacres and privately-owned guns.

As Quebec economist Pierre Lemieux noted yesterday, "Mass killings were rare when guns were easily available, while they have been increasing as guns have become more controlled." The 1996 murders in the Scottish town of Dunblane -- 17 killed -- occurred despite far more restrictive gun laws than America's.
Not to mention the absence of these killings in Switzerland and Israel (at least among Israelis) where many civilian men are required to keep weapons (and ammunition) at home as part of their military duties.

The fact that we publicly designate 'gun free zones' is one of the most idiotic liberal ideas to date. They have created playgrounds for killers and maniacs.
