Youthful clarity.

Lev is a 25-year-old Swede who has written a clear essay about the value of free speech and the danger of allowing Islam to hide its regressive essence behind the idea that as a religion Islam is somehow entitled to a pass when scrutiny is the first order of the day.

I wish I'd had as much clarity about basic Western values at the age of 50 as this young man has at 25. He exhibits a temperate, informed, fair minded appreciation of the difference between Islam, on the one hand, and all the other religions of the world that have made a healthy adaptation to change on the other.

"HARD TIME #4: Islam versus the free world." By Lev, Tainted Thoughts, 9/18/07.
