Piker popes outdone by rank amateurs.

During that 350 year period of history [i.e., during the Inquisition], it is estimated that 5,000- 10,000 people were put to death in the name of orthodoxy [by the Church].[1]
As you know, the Inquisition is the essence of Christian hypocrisy and reason numero uno for casting that faith aside in favor of any manner of foolishness involving approaching comets, orbiting space ships, “progressivism,” socialism, world government, or triangle power. Compared to what various Muslim amateurs and terrorist grouplets have been able to accomplish in a mere six years, you’d think that the secularists would be apoplectic about Islam. But you would be wrong. All of the reasons why you should see this Muslim behavior as a reflection of mere individual aberration will be trotted out and the silence about the historical innocence of millions upon millions of Christians will reign as before. By way of comparison, in those 350 years the western Roman Church managed to dispatch about 29 people a year, assuming Vatican responsibility for all executions (which may well have been the case). However, Muslim amateurs have murdered 10,179 infidels between 9/11 and this very day (per TheReligionofPeace.com), a very respectable rate of 1,696 killings per year – 58 times the Christian score. (Note that this figure does not include any pre-2001 Muslim killings due to the fact that my Windows XP resident calculator can’t handle numbers of that magnitude.) At this rate, in 350 years amateur Muslim killers would eliminate 593,600 inconvenient infidels, a number approximately equal to the number of liberals in Hollywood today. All to the greater glory of Allah, the Moon God. Ho hum. On the issue of the ever hyperallergic reaction to Christianity (as exemplified by the Inquisition recall), I expect the ACLU will continue its relentless campaign to separate us from this pernicious faith in all aspects of our public life. No greater evil than crosses and crèches on public property can be imagined. I look forward to the ACLU’s thoughts on Muslim demands for hospital beds that face Mecca and prison toilets that don’t.
