The choice Obama didn't make.

For whatever reason, Obama chose a black extremist church decades ago — even though there was no shortage of very different churches, both black and white — in Chicago.

One of the first rules of bureaucratic infighting is, Figure out what the enemy bureaucrats are NOT saying. That's often what they're really trying to promote, or their weakest point. It works well here, too, as Mr. Sowell understands.

The ONE church Mr. Obama made a bee line to was this UCC house of mirrors. When the "Rev." Wright plucked on his little one-string ukelele, Obama vibrated in agreement.

How much clearer does it have to be? Obama was home.
