When national self defense was not an outdated concept.

Lazare Ponticelli, the last French solider from WWI has died in France.
While the French Republic methodically organizes the invasion of our territory by foreign populations, the ruling class, of all stripes, indulges itself with unbelievable gall in the rendering of vibrant homages to the last "poilu". From across the land we hear nothing but lyrical end-of-banquet praise, from dithyrambs dedicated to "the invaded Fatherland" to "the heroic and painful patriotism", to "freedom", to "our memory", to "the defense of our nation and its ideals".
"The Last Veteran." Tiberge, Gallia Watch, 3/14/08 (emphasis added).
