Diana West observes how Ms. Rice sees the world through the prism of race relations in Birmingham, Alabama, as though it has any relevance to the threat posed by Islam.
That would be the Islam as practiced in, say, Saudi, which legally abolished slavery only in the 1960s. These things can't be rushed.
