Getting real.

The existing paradigm — a system of lawfully-constituted democratic governance — has failed us.

Interesting indeed!
Best wishes from an Estonian living in Italy.

Thank you, Pilland. The whole article of the Baron's makes for sober reading. Pherhaps it is overly pessimistic, but I don't think so. I see know signs of significant change in thinking, unless it is the Tea Party phenomenon here.

The U.S. and European governments' unwillingness to defend majority ethnic interests and to keep out illegal immigrants and their debasement of citizenship are symptoms of a philosophy of government that is simply not up to the task of defending the realm. The west has become like a biological cell that has lost its wall.

The citizens of the west are no better. Only a few register dismay; the rest simply will not voice opposition or allow themselves to be distracted from the serious business of entertaining themselves. The path of least resistance -- mindless non-discrimination -- is leading us straight to oblivion.

I've never made it to any of the Baltic states. A few years back I made it to Russia so you might say I was "in the neighborhood."
