The killings even encompassed the beheading of teen-aged, Indonesian, Christian schoolgirls. Here are some recent killings (quoting TROP) to give you the flavor of what is perpetrated day in and day out by Muslims:
2010.03.21 (Helmand, Afganistan) | Ten Afghans at a market are blown to bits by a Shahid suicide bomber. |
____________ | |
2010.03.21 (Quetta, Pakistan) | A suicide bomber on a bicycle pedals to paradise, taking four innocents with him. |
____________ | |
2010.03.20 (Peshawar, Pakistan) | Hardliners beat a student to death for playing music, which they consider to be against Islamic teaching. |
____________ | |
2010.03.20 (Kismayo, Somalia) | Islamists gun down a rival. |
____________ | |
2010.03.20 (Kurram, Pakistan) | A woman is killed in the crossfire when rival religious groups clash. |
____________ | |
2010.03.20 (Quetta, Pakistan) | Four Shias are shredded by gunfire in a suspected sectarian attack. |
Yes, yes. Not all Muslims are killers. I can see that there are decent Muslims, but . . . all those killers are Muslims, and Geert Wilders -- in the Netherlands, the heart of Europe -- is under constant police protection because of his strong opposition to Islam. What Muslim in Europe or America lives with the daily threat of violence from Christians and requires police protection?

These 15,000+ victims of Islamic terror -- and many, many, many millions before 9/11 -- are the distilled manifestation of what Islam is in its essence. It’s about terror, intimidation, oppression, and killing.

This is exactly the wrong approach to the Islamic world if there is to be a solution to the ghastly human catastrophe set in motion by Mohammed.
How’s this for a paradigm shift? Instead of treating the oil fields in the Arab world as the property of the failed nations that govern the surface terrain, treat the oil as a resource belonging to all the world. Treating the Saudis as a sovereign nation indulges their wildest and most unrealistic fantasies and puts money into the hands of people who finance terrorism and all manner of subversion and assault on the West.
How long are we going to indulge the fantasies of self determination and sovereignty for pissant cultures, nations, and tribes that spend every waking minute figuring out how not to part of the community of nations and how not to compete for the allegiance, devotion, loyalty, respect, and affection of the world's people without resorting to the coercive power of violence?
If we don't change the paradigm, we'll continue to get results like the president of one of the finest countries ever bowing and scraping before a kinglet of one of the worst. Our president's admittedly a special case, all things considered, but his predecessors have done the exact same thing, only less overtly. The financing and construction of even the first Wahhabi mosque in the U.S. was tolerated by whatever U.S. president with a mindset little different in degree from that of Mr. Obama.
It's utterly, completely, absolutely absurd. We fawn over and tolerate people whose every fiber of their being longs to destroy us.
