Besotted by the feminine.

What has changed is that we have abandoned the warrior ethos in favor of the feminine.

While the modern western man reviles the warrior and weeps for the woes of the world while doing nothing, but adding fuel to the fire, he truly does not understand what he has rejected or that he now makes himself a willing victim for aggression.[1]
Some writers speak of “thumos,” a spiritedness that infuses a man to dare, to fight. This spirit is very little in evidence among Western man. He waits instead for others to provide for him and loses himself in empty pastimes. Do you want to see passion and commitment? Think Superbowl, NASCAR, ESPN. Distant champions o do battle with no personal risk. Vicarious battle in an X-box culture.

The war cry of modern Western man -- “What, me worry?" Or is it, "BOHICA"?

Where is the outrage over the hourly excesses of the third world invaders and the native leadership's theft of a nation's essence?

There is none.

Only a servile acceptance of the fairy tales and obfuscations of modern political life. "Is something discriminatory, racist, sexist, homophobic, bad for the environment, or mean-spirited or does it 'privilege' the indigenous population?" is seemingly the sole political or moral question that fires the passion of the educated classes. With a corrupt MSM and film and educational establishments, the culture takes its cue.

Wholesale violation of the nation’s borders and being preyed upon by illegal immigrants and their citizen enablers? These cause not a blip on the national ICU life support monitor. The Nation doesn't even know it's sick. The proof is in the result we see.

Even Chuck Norris, after vanquishing a company of cranky ninjas with his samurai sword, drops his sword like it was a dead possum instead of holding it aloft in triumph. Nine U.S. movies out of 10 with non-thug, non-military characters who must use a gun have them do so gingerly and with the expectation that the slightest touch will cause the weapon to fire of its own volition and kill the nearest adorable, recovering child cancer victim. NO film character who by some miracle lays a two by four up side the head of some thug will EVER stick around to finish the job but will lamely drop the lumber and flee like a bunny rabbit pursued by the now revived thug. Nope. Incessant Hollywood message: violence is icky, solves nothing, and just isn't for decent folks.

Dirty Harry, Charlie Bronson, and Golan-Globus movies depicted stern men but were aberrations. (For the absolute ultimate in wuss movies see "Congo." The toughest character is a white woman followed marginally only by the main black male character. The main white male character is a pansy.)

We studious ignore problems and attack all cultural strengths that would solve those problems.

When problems can't be ignored, we subvert those who have to deal with them. MK at Crusader Rabbit has an interesting view of shifting "rules of engagement" that always seem to operate to hamstring the West in its confrontations with the third world.[2] No military strike can go down without a notarized certificate from the A.C.L.U. that no kangaroo rats or lying, conniving, terrorist-enabling enemy civilians will be harmed. And if an M-16 bullet launcher will git ‘er done, well, then, we’re supposed to use a tire iron instead. Take a knife to a knife fight even when you've got a gun. Conflict resolution a la the Harvard Kennedy School of Government.

Also from Mr. Stout:
We expect man to be a pure and reasoning being who only has the best intentions for himself and others. If you truly believe this fantasy, then you do yourself and those of your community a disservice. You see, you will constantly shoot down any plan that does not involve something warm and fuzzy when dealing with people who remain more animal than yourself and this will ultimately prove fatal to both yourself and the community if there are large enough numbers of people who believe as you do. Likely, you tell yourself you are making a new world, but sadly you are only leading the lamb to the slaughter and your eyes are closed as you walk closer to the butcher.

There will come a day when you will be right about the nature of man, but it is not this day. Today, we must use the animal within ourselves to fight the animal that seeks to destroy us and our society. Against malice and hatred, you can only destroy your foe if you are to survive. That we have no desire to do this speaks well of our character, but our choice comes down to this: either we wage the war that must be fought or give it to our children to fight as an inheritance of our apathy.[3]

Bunny: It's good to see you raising the bar on personal charisma. I didn't think that was possible, but here we are.
