All manner of DOJ stonewalling and footdragging have occurred since then when anyone attempted to find out the reason for this stunning DOJ action. Maggie at Maggie’s Notebook lays it all out, including the details of DOJ attorney J. Christian Adams’s brave resignation over what he saw and couldn’t swallow.
In essence:
Most disturbing, the dismissal is part of a creeping lawlessness infusing our government institutions. Citizens would be shocked to learn about the open and pervasive hostility within the Justice Department to bringing civil rights cases against nonwhite defendants on behalf of white victims....Open contempt is voice[d] for these types of cases.~ J. Of course, the reverse of this situation would be cause for a mighty uproar in the press and the halls of Congress but with the disgraceful thinking and policies in evidence here there is no storm whatsoever.
No one can doubt the alien nature of this administration after this outrage.

I've posted on this as well--it's a huge story yet the MSM are managing to ignore it.
One wonders just how far along the track to destroy America obumma would have to go before they'd be forced to cover his criminality.
My guess is that just so long as he panders to their agenda, he's bulletproof.
Sorry to delay a response to you. I was at an Army reunion at Ft. Benning, Georgia, in June and otherwise on the road and disinclined to attend to internet matters.
It's proved to be even larger than it was at press time. You may have seen the FoxNews reports on the visits of the senior division lawyer who was found to have visited a White House lawyer frequently as the NBP travesty unfolded. It stinks and if it were in the Bush DOJ the story would be carried to Andromeda by now.
