But the fact that most Muslims support Al Qaeda's goals, makes it impossible to argue that it is not representative of Muslims. . . .. . . And what liberals will not oppose. Not today. Not tomorrow. Not ever.

Most liberals would say that people who agree with the goals of the KKK, but disagree with some of its methods, are still KKK supporters. Yet they are unwilling to apply the same inevitable logic to the Muslim world, where the majority agrees with Al Qaeda's goal of political power for Muslims only, and few rights left for anyone who doesn't happen to be a Muslim man. That is a worldview that supports bigotry and tyranny, caning women and beheading men for offenses against Islamic law. And this is what most Muslims want to see enforced.
The Muslim wants you to submit, to kiss his hand and lick his toes. Then the liberals will get their turn.

The Muslim world has done ABSOLUTELY NOTHING about Islamic terrorism at all. We are quick to condemn our own extremists such as the Koran-burning pastor if we wish (that's democracy), but Muslims worldwide, though pathologically primed to riot over the printed page, have not yet mounted a single protest on any discernible scale against Islamic terrorist killing of innocent human beings, including the events of 9/11, a disconnect that Muslim leaders such as Imam Rauf have also failed to explain satisfactorily - because they CAN'T.
Quite so. I often like to reflect on the truth that the reality of many matters is to be found in what is left out, not mentioned, or not seen. Muslims are silent and passive, actively support the jihadis, or are jihadis. All are part of Islam and no more could say what is faulty about Islam than a fish could discuss the cold of the North Atlantic.
The rare Muslim who understands the full catastrophe dares not speak out unless he's rich and can afford security or willing to live life on the run.
As Baron Bodissey observed, Islam's the perfect closed system.
