It's an interesting and depressing experience to read about the decline of California, the subject of Tim Daniel's article on Pajamas Media.

We are witnessing America in decline, with a leadership class clinging to the very policies that have obviously brought about disaster. Large-scale violence to follow.

It's more than just California. One commenter describes the changes in Philadelphia:
City and suburban neighborhoods where I lived that were thriving and well-kept lower and middle middle class neighborhoods in the 1940s, 1950s and 1960s have since degenerated into crime ridden ghettos full of neglected, boarded up, or burnt out row homes, roamed by “wolf packs” of teenagers up to no good. The once crowded, busy, thriving commercial center of my youth is now a trash strewn ghost of its former self . . . .[1]
223 years ago the Framers met there to draft our wonderful Constitution. Now Philadelphia's a perfect set for a tawdry "Blade runner" street scene.

Once safe, orderly, vibrant cities are shadows of their former selves. Courtesy of unconstitutional centralized government and Marxist-socialist-liberal-progressive madness.
