The following contains a statistic I ran across toady. It has no significance and is quite meaningless. Nothing can be deduced from it. It has no implications. Business should proceed as usual. Ignore the commentary too. It's quite superfluous.

All this ranks with the number of egg sandwiches consumed by the Guardia Civil and the percentage of used tires
in asphalt paving.

The size of Sophia Loren's melons in the movie "El Cid" and their effect on Charlton Heston are more interesting. And Cary Grant didn't even have to drag a @#$%g 50-ton cannon over the Himalayas to check them out. You'd smile too.

Anyway.

In most of the civilized world, although Muslims are small in number, they are over-represented in the prison system.

As so it is in Spain where although Muslims are only 2.3% of the population they represent 70% of the prison population.

According to Islamic Commission of Spain and Ministry of Justice reports in 2009, about 72% of all Muslims in Spain are immigrants without Spanish nationality. These Muslims do not have any connections to Spain's culture, nor do they feel they want to belong to Spanish society. They live in segregated communities that encourage behavior that runs completely counter to Spanish values.
