Ron Unz's analysis is compelling. I don't care for the "planted explosives" argument as the two men who were chief of security for each of the towers were very excellent men who would not have turned a blind eye to such activities. Nor is it possible to emplace such explosives surreptitiously. Videos of destruction of concrete structures show that drilling holes in the supports is an integral part of the technique. Too many people would have had to be in on the plot to have no one notice anything as bizarre as demolition emplacement.
I finally did see a video of the apparent object that struck the Pentagon. If undoctored, there's no way you can say that was an airliner.
I don't carry any water here for 9/11 theories as I am interested in other things. Plenty of other people do a good job of picking things apart.
