Could you please just make a decision.

Trump on the “illegal takedown” organized against him:
It's a shame that our country had to go through this. To be honest it's a shame that your president had to go through this for - before I even got elected, it began. And it began illegally. And hopefully somebody is gonna look at the other side. This was an illegal takedown that failed, and hopefully somebody is going to be looking at the other side.[1]
Trump has done a lot of good but, on the large questions of his constitutional authority and the coup attempt he has allowed to proceed against him unchallenged, he maddeningly can only come up with positions solidly located in the boundaries laid out for him by his ultra-left opponents and these vague pronouncements:
  • The DOJ documents need to be released in their unredacted state.
  • “Somebody” should look into unlawful efforts to bring down a duly-elected president.
Well, Mr. Trump, guess who’s got an entire Justice Department at his disposal to take some concrete action. Why on earth do you settle on the language “somebody”? And why do you frequently choose the “deer in the headlights” stance on important matters? Are you ignoring the legal advice you’re getting or do you need different counsel?

We don't know how dangerous the road Trump is travelling.

I agree with Karl above up to a point. I think we do have an idea how dangerous the road is. Dangerously dangerous, Perilously dangerous, Life threateningly dangerous.

Karl Pomeroy above has a site called Quemado Institute. His latest article is about New Zealand Mosque shootings and I have written several replies. They should appear soon if he allows them . At times I will write to you what I sense had happened here in Christchurch, and what it means

That's true, Mr. Pomeroy. But not every footstep of his has a landmine under it. He is the president and there seems to be a pattern with him of making vague "something ought to be done" pronouncements all the while it's a presidential obligation to do that something or he has the power to do it.

Thanks, Paul. I think the goal of more gun control/confiscation is in the mix of that CC event. I don't get the "Gladio" connection Mr. Pomeroy makes, which seems a stretch and an anachronism from the aftermath of WWII.

There are anomalies respecting the event, however, that make me question the attack. The guy who appears to the killer's left at the entrance to the main hall seems "video gamish" as he appears to want to slide past the killer and appears to make no contact with him at all. The killer hardly breaks stride and I didn't think viewing that that he even tried to or did shoot the guy. Plus, the shooting down the street seems pointless when he had many targets still inside the mosque, the "shotgun" blast at the car windshield inexplicably left only a smudge, and he drove too fast and maneuvered in a way that seemed guarnanteed to call attention to him by cops. He wasn't nervous or stoked in any way and had to know that unusual driving is a cop magnet.
