In a corporatist system of government, where corporate power is inseparably intertwined with state power, corporate censorship is state censorship. Every horrible thing the US government accuses other nations of doing is something it itself does as a matter of routine. Increasingly authoritarian control over information and communication is just one more example of this.[1]

While they're at it they could look at the strange notion that the tech giants are publishers not mere information conduits and therefore not immune from civil suits, that Supreme Court "jurisprudence" on the Interstate Commerce Clause is a betrayal of the constitutional order, that government by billionaire and foundation is also a betrayal of the constitutional order, that U.S. District Court orders do not have nationwide effect, and that Kamala Harris isn't a natural born citizen even if not one "responsible" media sewer pipe will even mention the issue (shhh).
Crazy talk, I know given the present sacred hierarchy of government policy:
- constitutional expediency,
- abortion,
- censorship,
- crucifixion of Julian Assange, Bradley Manning, and Michael Flynn,
- ignoring Hillary Clinton's crime,
- endless foreign war,
- bizarre hostility to all things Russian,
- ignoring Biden family corruption,
- ignoring Groper Joe's dementia,
- regime change for regimes that are not our enemies,
- sanctions on foreigners who have not harmed us,
- leftists street thuggery,
- cultural disaster,
- spineless state and local government,
- a lunatic educational system,
- life-crushing educational costs for students,
- celebration of the lifestyle of homosexuals,
- pandering to the sexually confused,
- unrestrained monopoly,
- ballot integrity that's a cruel joke,
- monetary, fiscal, and debt lunacy,
- entitlement lunacy,
- destruction of the economy in the guise of "dealing" with the "pandemic,"
- impoverishing American workers,
- enriching the 1%,
- importing welfare parasites and/or job thieves, and
- guaranteeing amnesties and a "pathway to citizenship" for hostile, leftist invaders.

It's frightening to see how many people vote for the Bidens, Trudeaus and Arderns of this world. Don't they know that you can only vote Commies in, you can never vote them out?
Indeed. The morons think that one set of policies can be replaced by another different set and that's the end of the analysis. Single-payer health care, baby. Won't it be great?! But then there's the observation that a government big enough to give you what you want is big enough to take all you've got. And those cuddly Antifa and bicycle lock ninjas won't have any lasting effect on daily life. They can't see the danger. In a few weeks BLM and Antifa ruled the streets and made a frontal assault on our civilization and its founding people. But that wasn't a giant alarm bell for them. NIMBY, dude.
Perhaps the Western world can be forgiven for not appreciating the horrors of defensive industrial warfare that arrived with WWI. What had it seen until then of the new realities? However, we've had over a 100 years to contemplate the folly of modern war and the end result of lawless, arbitrary rule by human hyenas. Identifying and avoiding hyenas would be a high priority exercise for intelligent people with a smidgen of foresight but that is not what concerns modern man. He would not tolerate guests in his house who defiled his women and trashed the place but he turns a blind eye to the influx of millions of third-world primitives who hate his country, steal jobs, drive down wages, and suck up welfare.
I once asked a liberal friend about whether it was necessary for us to do all in our power to avoid the totalitarian experience. Perhaps I merely asked if we should so all in our power to preserve constitutional government. I don't recall just now. Either question requires an appreciation of the history of the last century to answer intelligently. But her response was that it's more complicated than that. As though there were some kind of middle ground between total tyranny and better domestic policy choices.
