Why I love the Republican Party, Exhibit 398,456.

"I can't fathom risking our norms, traditions and institutions to pass a resolution retroactively changing the electors for Trump, simply because some think there may have been enough widespread fraud to give him the win," said Chatfield.[1]
~ Republican Speaker of the Michigan House of Representatives Lee Chatfield, 12/14/20.

Yes, that's it. "Some think" there was massive fraud. As the man also said, "If there’s fraud, we punish it. If there’s not, we move on."

And like gutless Republicans everywhere, he moved on. What's a tidal wave of reports of election fraud anyway? Job number one is to validate the end of the American republic.

Mission accomplished, Lee.
