[Europe’s] populations are all aging, shrinking and dying, as millions pour in from former colonies in the Third World to repopulate and Islamize the mother countries. This reminds me of the great comment someone made during the Cold War: “There’s no benefit to being America’s friend and no penalty for being America’s enemy."
Because of Europe's new "diversity," any war fought in a Muslim land will inflame a large segment of Europe's urban population.
Finally, NATO Europe knows there is no price to pay for malingering in NATO's war in Afghanistan. Europeans know America will take up the slack and do nothing about their refusal to send combat brigades.
I miss that virile, rambunctious, hilarious, irreverent, outrageous Cheech. There’s something emblematic about his transformation into the tame Don Johnson sidekick. We live in the “New America” -- as tame, bland and gelded as this new tv character. Mr. Obama longs for the opportunity for some Saudi king to put a ring through his nose. For some half-assed claim of global multi-enviro-ecumenicaparations to recognize and celebrate. For some opportunity to trash the glories of the western experience. For some new opportunity to grind out his cigarettes in the carpet.
If Obama shows any manly vigor in the defense of American interests, it will only be because the light of a thousand search lights is on him following some new outrage.
