President Putin demonstrated how it is possible with one tenth of the expenses of the US military to destroy ISIS in Syria by the simple application of an intention to actually do it. This intention was always absent from the minds of western geopoliticians who actually preferred to have a growing network of terrorists spread across the Middle East and Africa. Terrorists not only destabilized troublesome nation states as a form of asymmetric warfare, but also provided a convenient excuse to bomb governments targeted for regime change.[1]You want intention? Scott Ritter shows the dishonesty and murderous intent of the American empire with his excellent analysis of the Soleimani assassination.
It's all of a piece with Russiagate, Skripalgate, the White Helmet abomination, the Integrity Initiative (IKYN), the MI6 Steel Dossier, the mad dog ophthalmologist hysteria, our yuuuge bestest enemy ally in the whole world Israel, mediamonopolygate, Kavanaughgate, the Flynn persecution, the Build the Wall bullshit, the vote fraud, the B1B assault on Americans, the illegal immigrant theft of American jobs, the "undocumented immigrant" horseshit, the Great Replacement, our anti-white politics, the frontal assault on free speech, tech giant censorship, glaring Clinton Foundation corruption, Benghazi, presidential politics that even Steven King couldn't dream up, minority worship, the insanity of the universal franchise, the garbage about Iran's being the chief sponsor of terror, the transgendered athlete and lunatic feminists spasms, the disgrace of the officially-supported AntiFa street fighters, abortion-as-the-Holy-Grail of the Supreme Court nomination process, and, inter alia, the blithe indifference to the hideous proportions of the federal government which has reached heights of power, size, and malevolence never contemplated by the Framers and Ratifiers in their worst nightmares.
Apart from that, we're doing great. If only those Russians would stop trying to bring us down.

Have to hand it to the Russians, constantly creating havoc, wicked and un-God. The way they pulled of the Coronavirus attack is amazing. I see though that Russia and Ukraine not reporting Corona numbers.
:-)
Perfidious Ivan!
As for non-reporting, detection depends on testing, otherwise it's just observation of active cases. Too, I don't think there's a penalty to reporting. The entire world is decidedly hyper about tiny infection rates and resort to DEFCON I is had at the least sign of infection. I remain skeptical about the actual rate of infection but not because I'm well informed. The comparison to ordinary flu seems most instructive to me and now, after three months, it seems like we'd have a roaring pandemic going which we don't. The rate of infection on that cruise ship was minor and that was in the perfect incubator for any flu-like disease.
Lockdown seems like it might be AN option but NOT being old, like me, AND/OR not living in a hugely crowded city seems like a much better one.
