The nobility of the uses to which sharia lends itself.

A Christian doctor in Pakistan got into a dispute with a Muslim [street?] vendor over the latter's setting up in front of the doctor's clinic. Which directly resulted in charges of "blasphemy" being filed with the police in which the vendor said the doctor also “compared the prophet Muhammad’s beard with the beard of a Sikh.”

The vendor called for the death penalty in his statement, with which no reasonable person can disagree, considering the Sihk's beard comparison. Surely a new low for Christians.

Can the fragile Muslim "faith" withstand another such blow?

The director of the diocesan Commission for Interfaith Dialogue in Faisalabad, Pakistan, said, “Settling of personal scores and jealousy are the main driving forces behind both types [of Christians being accused of blasphemy, namely, rich Christians and poor Christians].”

Revenge.

Jealousy.

False witness.

Excitable anti-Christian mobs.

Is this what comes through the door as well when we ensure that emmigration from Pakistan to the U.S. remains wide open? Who is it that is coming in from Pakistan? Do we make inquiry of Muslim immigrants from anywhere as to whether they support death for blasphemers and apostates?

If not, what madness prevents us from asking about this and excluding and deporting people when they prove that they are totally unfit to live in a Western country?
