Candy ass Persia policy.

How much plainer does it have to be stated?
“If [the Iranians] are subjected to serious pressure they could easily collapse. But so far, their intransigence has never been challenged.”

“The sanctions we have today are not working,” [Deputy Israeli Foreign Minister Ayalon] said. “They are not serious. Iran continues to trade. They continue to get access to financial markets. They continue to buy the materials that are important for their delivery systems and their nuclear effort.
Iran sponsors terror, does backflips to help kill our troops in Iraq, is hard at work to upset the world’s nuclear status quo, and generally revels in its disgusting backwardness. A huge and determined enemy of the U.S. and the West in general.

So. Consider: Iran imports a good percentage of its gasoline.

Does this present itself as an opportunity for real, biting sanctions to any of our strategic thinkers in the capitol of the world’s greatest nation?

What a mystery this all is.

I’ll help. Would Iran, or would it not, GRIND TO A STOP IF GASOLINE EXPORTS TO IT WERE STOPPED?

If you’re an employee of the U.S. State Department, I guess the answer to that question is “We’re helpless! They’ll be so cross with us if we do anything!”

I, not being an employee of State, think this is a great place to start. Time to open up a can of hurt for those vicious fanatics.
