They’ll be feeling the heat now . . . now that the U.S. is going to be a “full partner” in international talks . . . TALKS, I’m telling you, in which we will be interacting more directly with our allies. The fact that we’ll be “reaching out” to the Iranians is seemingly irrefutable proof that we’re in deadly earnest about . . . well . . . setting the stage for progress.
"We know the imperative of preventing Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons," [Secretary of State Hillary Clinton] added [in her testimony]. "After years during which the United States basically sat on the sidelines, we are now a full partner" in international talks on Iran. This is all good, but one thing worries me. Isn't someone missing from the Obama/Clinton Interagency Iran Threat Team, and isn't her absence evidence that Barack and Hillary still aren’t serious about Iranian nukes?
The [House Foreign Affairs Committee] chairman, Rep. Howard Berman, D-Calif., asked Clinton how much time it would take to get results on Iran. She did not reply directly but said the administration believes it has set the stage for progress by interacting more directly with allies [i.e., Britain, Australia, and Kosovo] and by reaching out to the Iranian authorities.
"It is going to be a more successful engagement if our partners around the world [i.e., Britain, Australia, Kosovo, and Hawaii] understand they must work with us," including on consultations aimed at imposing tougher sanctions on Iran, Clinton said.
"The fact that we are engaging ... actually gives us more leverage with other nations."
Yes! Janet Reno!
Am I right??!! When she was Attorney General, Janet knew how to “reach out” to grave threats to the Nation such as the Branch Davidian fortress outside Waco. She knew how to deal with real fanatics.
Put her in charge of the interacting, engaging, and consulting with those Iranian imamical pussies and before you can say
"Clinton: Stopping Iran Nukes is World Imperative." Associated Press, FOXNews.com, 4/22/09 (emphasis added).
