Perfect death penalty case.

Mr. Skylar Deleon, 29, with his then wife, lured a couple out to sea on the latter’s yacht while pretending to be contemplating purchase of the boat. Deleon overpowered the couple, who pleaded for their lives, and threw them overboard tied to an anchor. Judge Frank F. Fasel in Orange County, Calif., sentenced Deleon to death, as recommended by the jury.

I’m 100% in favor of the death penalty just not 100% certain of the process by which it is imposed in some cases.

Here defense lawyers made no pretence that Deleon was guilty and focused their efforts on trying to obtain a life sentence rather than death.

Hence, the perfect case for the death penalty: no doubt as to guilt, a coldblooded killing.

Another excellent case: Black Panther Wesley Cook. Death sentence still not assured.
