I speak of the fact of Muslim inundation of Europe which has been so “normal” and constant in recent European history that its bizarre and suffocating nature just goes unnoticed. And now there’s some faint hope to think it is being noticed and that Europeans are rousing themselves from their long, long slumber:
The more significant [reason for Europe’s antipathy toward “social{istic} democracy”] is that over the past three decades, social-democratic Europe's political, cultural, academic and media elites have presided over, and vigorously defended, a vast wave of immigration from the Muslim world—the largest such influx in human history.[1]Throughout the millennia, people of all cultures and races sacrificed enormously to keep people of different races, cultures, and values from crossing their borders into the interiors of their lands. Until the late 20th century this was true, at which point Westerners freely and purposefully drank some kind of hallucinatory philter of sappy equality and bastard compassion that Paine spoke of (and discussed on this blog). And threw open their doors to barbarians their ancestors gave their lives to repel or annihilate.
20 million Muslims later it appears there’s some kind of a stirring of disquiet in the European breast which nonetheless falls far short of a determination to educate resident Muslim subversives on the duties of citizenship or departure hence, one.
In the meantime, in addition to a good many burdens borne by Europeans as a result of this madness, there is the problem of wildly disproportionate crime rates:
In 2001, 65% of rapes in Norway were committed by what the country's police call "non-Western" men—a category consisting overwhelmingly of Muslims, who make up just 2% of that country's population. In 2005, 82% of crimes in Copenhagen were committed by members of immigrant groups, the majority of them Muslims.[2]And:
truth remains that for every act of anti-Muslim violence in Europe, there are—to make an exceedingly conservative guess—100 acts of Muslim-on-infidel violence.[3]Crime stats aside, Europeans also bear huge immigration-related costs, including, in the case of France, a reduction of economic growth on the order of two-thirds.[4]
All of which was totally avoidable and the direct result of free choices made by otherwise intelligent people in the grip of fantasies about human nature and cultural integrity that would have marked their possessor in saner earlier times as certifiably insane.
