The true face of "Liberal" democracy is police violence.^[1]

Considering the Canadian truckers, the U.S. (Jeffrey Epstein, Ruby Ridge, Waco, Lavoy Finnicum, AntiFa proxies for police, nonenforcement of the criminal law), Australia, Germany (AntiFa proxies for police) and, esp. France (injuries inflicted on Yellow Vest protestors), I think this is something to file away. The larger issue of government repression, including the astonishing attack on free speech (hate speech, "anti-Semitism," terms of service violations) and the mandatory "vaccination" and lockdown hysteria, became the dominant Western phenomenon in the blink of an eye.

"Liberal" democracy was a mile wide and an inch thick and hence could give birth overnight to rule by liars and and manipulators. The true face of "liberal" democracy was a manufactured shadow of consent of the governed, rule of law, and reason itself. Listen to Trudeau, Fauci, or the US MSM speak about reliance on "the science."

Repression has been the natural recourse of liars, thieves, and manipulators and it took root among us with astonishing speed.

Just some thoughts after reading that quote and having it resonate with me.
