Betrayal at the border.

Customs and Border Protection (CBP) inspector, Adam Bender, formerly stationed on the U.S.-Canadian border has pleaded guilty to alien smuggling charges. He would wave through immigrants for whom a "friend" Hassan Saad, 35, of Detroit, a roofing and home improvement contractor, would vouch.

Debbie Schlussel adds that her "sources at the border tell me there are plenty of Adam Benders who are never caught."

Cheery thought.

She asserts, too, that there's a connection between a third man in the case and a known Hezbollah family in Lebanon. She gets there by noting the similarity of the third man's name, Bazzi, and the name of the Lebanese family. A definite "Maybe" on that one.
